Corinne Madelmont, an Eldorado Emerson teacher, delivers excellent trips in which she instills the love of learning while traveling with students and their families. She plans a unique annual trip for every Spring Break! While on these trips, students (whether alone or with their families) learn cultural traditions, lifestyles and how to travel outside of their home countries the smart and safe way. Exploring other cultures helps kids feel connected to the world around them - and may boost their critical thinking skills. Traveling to a different country is always fun, but poses certain risks. Strikes, accidents, and things like missed flights could always happen. Corinne Madelmont teaches students these valuable life lessons that can only be taught while events happen - you will never get this kind of learning experience from a book. These trips are also perfect opportunities to strengthen bonds and relationships, such as the grandparent-child bond. Most children don't get to see their extended family often, and it is when you are travelling and have the most time to really get to know one another. Corinne Madelmont's trips are a perfect opportunity to do so!
